AJAXify your Yahoo Mail Account into the Beta!
Drooling over the screen caps of the AJAX based Yahoo Mail Beta? Have an account and tired of waiting for the beta invite? This "hack" comes from Lifehacker and works like a charm!
1. Log into your Yahoo Mail account.
2. Click Options
3. Select Account Information from the left panel
4. Go to Member Information, General Preferences... Then click the link for Preferred Content.
5. Select Yahoo United Kingdom
6. Select Finished.
7. Exit Yahoo mail and then re-enter the site.
8. You will be greeted with a new screen to start the beta.
9. Once done, you can change the information back to Yahoo United States and the beta will stay turned on!
Some people on the Lifehacker site have said that the invite screen did not start immediately but mine did and I'm getting a feel for what Yahoo has up its collective sleeves.
