Movies tie-ins, Movie Trailers, Movie Spoofs, and Movies on Google!

Pirates of the Caribbean Paper model of the Wicked Wench - Build your own version of the pirate ship!

Spiderman III Trailer hits
! - My only complaint?  May 2007????  Why? Oh Why?.........  {sigh}

As does Snakes on a Plane! - I think this looks like a LOT of fun!  Larry on the other hand does not.  What's not to like about The Man, an ER nurse, and an SNL comic!

Busted Tees - Not cheap but very funny "retro" tees.  If I only had the money and they were OK to wear to work!

The Meatrix - Keanu never look this phat!  Actually it is a spoof by, I think, the vegetarian lobby.  But as a spoof, it is pretty good.

Did you know that there are FREE MOVIES on Google Video... Full length movies and some are actually worth watching.  The guys at Inside Google have a post with some including the classic zombie movie...  Night of the Living Dead from 1968!

Test your email and anti-virus using the EICAR virus file. -

More Lost Mysteries... No answers, just questions... and a not-so-bad blog.

And finally, for all you SciFi Geeks out there (and yes, David, that means you!) - Star Wars vs. Star Trek!

Enjoy!

Dominos, Engrish (yes Engrish), and Ghostbusters III?

Kinetic Motion Machines (aka Domino Rallies) that are pretty interesting. One is over 6 minutes long!

Engrish.com - Yes Engrish... A, not even slightly ashamed of itself, site that prints poorly translated foreign package labeling to English. Excellent for a good laugh.

Hanzi Smatter - Thought you knew what that Chinese Tattoo you, or your friend, got meant? Maybe you were wrong!

Can you believe it? Another Ghostbusters Sequel? Ghostbusters in Hell is slated for a 2008 release and had Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis writing/directing. -

Alias: The Lost Episode - Alias... RIP!

All about the Lost Experience - Speaking of JJ Abrams, this is his other baby and their BIG Summer Game!

Firefox Cheat Sheet - Get around in the alt Browser.

Files are not for sharing - - Click the next link at the top of the screen to move forward.

Bumptop - Change the way you work with your Computer Desktop! - This is only a preview of what they hope to get working.

Have a bunch of ingredients but don't know what to make with them? Let Snacksby help!

Enjoy!

The Guide to Guys- The Movie

The genius of Dave Barry comes to the movies. From his bestselling book, The Complete Guide to Guys, Dave takes it to the next level with the G2G the movie. Here is the G2G trailer. If the movie is half a funny as the trailer, then it will be worth seeing. This movie also stars John Cleese, of Monty Python fame. I will put a full review on "INCONCEIVABLE!"

Giant Bloging Terms Glossary - Want to start blogging or don't know what it all means... check here!

Source of links to Cool Tech Tools

Last Christmas, someone gave me an iPod Shuffle. I loaded iTunes on my PC and began to look around for material I could listen to. I found lots of interesting podcasts on news, politics and Information Technology. One of them that I really enjoy is the Mike Tech Show. Mike is an IT professional who shares his experiences in solving IT issues for his clients and answers listener questions.

Mike also brings a lot of useful IT Tech Tools websites to my attention. You can find the list in his Show Notes blog each week at: www.miketechshow.com, but I get a lot more out of them by listening to his comments in his blog. Mike's accent distracted me a bit while I was listening to the first couple of shows, but I enjoy his easy-going style and the information I get out of his podcasts.

Speaking of podcasts, my favorite podcast receiver is www.DopplerRadio.net Version 3.0 Beta used with iTunes. It is capable of storing all subscribed podcasts in a single folder if you wish so that they may be easily copied to your MP3 player. It has a built-in player, but will also integrate with iTunes, MS Media Player, and others. Unlike iTunes or Media Player alone, you can specify not only general settings for All podcasts, but you can configure settings specific to each podcast if you need to.

How about a way to keep track of when the Places We've Been, Sites We've Seen blog changes? Even better, how about a way to track when any web page changes? I use www.ChangeDetection.com/. I have never been spammed at the address I gave them, but I am always notified within 24 hours of a change to any web page I am interested in.

    Enjoy!

Darth Vader Explains, Picard tries to retreat and Fractals!

Ghost Rider Trailer is up! - How good can this really be????  On the plus side it has Nick Cage.  On the not-so-plus side, it seems like one of the "minor" characters in the Marvel Universe. {Disclaimer - I never claimed to be a Marvel Comics expert.  I'm more of a DC guy myself.  Don't hold it against me.}

How Darth Vader explained the destruction of the Death Star to Palpatine. -  One of the funnies things I have seen in a long time!  If Adult Swim is this good, I may have to stay up and watch more often... or set the Tivo to pick it up!

Blatte's Fractals - Great set of backgrounds available here.  The dual screen ones are really cool if you can use them.

Picard vs. Kirk - Finally we know what would have happened if these two Captains met in battle.

Cool paper sculptures - I like the whole paper folding to make a model idea and have linked to many, but what this guy is doing is really cool.  Student's beware... if your math teacher gets a hold of this link, you're going to be expected to do better work!

SciFi now presents online videos! - NBC has taken its network entities and created an interesting way to view episodes you may have missed.

Enjoy!
